Depends on the product. For garlands and birthday banners, pop your name or word in at checkout — then I’ll be in touch to work out a bespoke colour combination that suits the recipient’s room, character, or interests. For charms and key rings, you pick your bead, cord and carabiner colours at checkout. We take it from there.

Yes. Standard reads HAPPY BIRTHDAY — if you want something else, get in touch before you order and I’ll come back with design and pricing.

Sizing

What size charm should I choose?

Small is 3 letters — initials or short and punchy (MUM, DAD, BFF). Medium fits up to 5 — a short name or one word (BRIDE, WIFEY, FERAL). Large fits up to 10 letters and works well as two short words split across the two cords (KEWL MUM, FUR BABY, SEND HELP).

How long can a garland be?

Up to 10 letters. If you need longer, get in touch before you order.

What’s the difference between a bag charm and a keyring?

Same product. Clip it wherever you like.

What’s the difference between a Name charm and a Statement charm?

Same construction, different intent. Name charms spell a name, nickname or initials. Statement charms spell a saying, an in-joke, or whatever’s worth saying out loud (KEWL MUM, FUR BABY, SEND HELP). Pick whichever fits the gift — or the mood.

Production and shipping

How long does production take?

Charms and keyrings: 3–5 days. Garlands and birthday banners: 1–3 weeks. Everything is made to order, so timing can stretch during busy periods. If you need it by a specific date, flag it at checkout or get in touch.

Do you ship Australia-wide?

Yes. $10 for charms and key rings, $10 for garlands, $15 for birthday banners.

Do you ship internationally?

Get in touch if you live outside of Australia and we can work out how to get some Bugalugs over to you.

Returns and faults

Can I return or exchange a personalised item?

Because everything’s made to order, we can’t accept returns or exchanges — unless something’s faulty. If it arrives damaged or isn’t what you ordered, get in touch and we’ll make it right.

Where are you based?

Melbourne, Australia. Designed and made here.

Are the fabrics really upcycled?

Mostly, yes. The bulk of the fabric used in the garlands and birthday banners is upcycled from old clothing, bedding and offcuts sourced locally in Melbourne. The rest comes from small independent fabric retailers, chosen for the print, the texture, or because the colour combo just works. Either way, it’s never mass-produced and it’s always picked one piece at a time.
